Basketball star Shaq O’Neal was definitely in the mood to celebrate after his induction into the NBA Hall of Fame yesterday. Before hitting the club, he decided to give us his take on Teyana Taylor’s moves in Kanye West’s most recent music video for his track ‘Fade’, and the internet loves it.
The video shows Shaq hilariously recreating Taylor’s amazing ‘Flashdance-inspired’ dance moves in his tank top and a pair of boxers in what looks like his bedroom. We think he killed it!
Kanye’s BIZARRE music video has certainly grabbed a lot of media attention for all sorts of reasons, (Taylor standing naked surrounded by a herd of sheep) but we must admit, she has totally inspired us to hit the gym!
Speaking to VH1 about the video choreography, Taylor stated the video was totally unrehearsed and got a little sticky.
“We were kinda just switching things as we went, adding things as we went,” she recalls. “I think I got pooped on by the sheep. Those hard doo doo balls and I had on all of the coconut oil and it was sticking to me. I was looking at Kanye like, ‘I’m standing here naked with these damn sheep.’”
