Atlanta rapper Ludacris is set to perform live at Guantanamo Bay Naval Base for the Fourth of July celebrations.
Ludacris will be the headlining act for this year’s ‘Freedom Festival’, which will be held at the base in Cuba on the Fourth of July. He will be playing for the 6,000 military personnel who currently live on the base, which is miles away from the detention centre holding the prisoners, so unfortunately for them, they wont be able to get a look in!
Speaking to Radio Gitmo on Monday, Navy chief Monique Hilly said, “Every year we get a special guest around the Fourth of July, but Gitmo hasn’t seen a star with as big a name as Ludacris in several years,” and that, “The base is really looking forward to it.”
Who knew Luda had such a massive military fan base? He must be chuffed! Much love.
