Kim Kardashian stars on the cover of ‘Forbes Magazine’ 2016 July issue as it’s revealed her widely successful video game, ‘Kim Kardashian: Hollywood’ has generated a whopping $160 million total revenue and has been downloaded over 45 million times since it was first launched back in 2014. WOW!
The ‘Keeping Up with The Kardashians’ star also landed No.42 on The Forbes Top 100 Celebrity List which has been released today. It’s been estimated that Kim herself has earned $51 million this year, with 40% of her earnings coming from her app alone. Kim took to Instagram to share her excitement covering the magazine and funnily hash-tagged ‘NotBadForaGirlWithNoTalent’.
Speaking in her interview with Forbes, she spoke about her new found passion “I became really intrigued with the tech world,” and tells them, “I started spending a lot of time in San Francisco. I realized this is really going to be the next cycle of my career and this is what I want to focus on.”
Kim also spoke of how her husband, Kanye West, has supported her through her journey, “I remember I asked Kanye, ‘Should I do this?’ He was like, ‘Yes!’ That’s how he got into music because he wanted to do music for video games and wanted to create video games, I was like, ‘I wonder if people are really going to … mimic my life.’”
Superstar Taylor Swift has landed the No.1 spot on Forbes Top 100 Celebrity List after earning an outstanding $170 million in the past year. Taylor’s huge gross earning are a result of her successful ‘1989 World Tour’, and it’s been revealed that she even broke the ‘Rolling Stones’ North American touring record, grossing an amazing $200 million. Boy-band One Direction came No.2 on the list, grossing a combined $120 million and US thriller author James Patterson came in as No.3 grossing $95million.
