Much to the world’s disappointment, July 31 has arrived and there’s not a sight of US recording artist Frank Ocean’s highly anticipated new album ‘Boys Don’t Cry‘. The singer/songwriter announced earlier this month that the album would be released on the 31 July and yet here we are, August 1.
This morning Frank’s website boysdontcry.co (which usually shows no activity) has been updated and a mysterious live-stream video has been launched. At the moment, there is no movement in the video, all we are given is an image of a huge white-walled empty warehouse or possibly a recording studio with audio of white noise and muffled chatter.
An Apple Music Logo is displayed in the top right-hand corner of the screen, suggesting this could be linked to a music release. Maybe this could be an Apple exclusive, maybe Frank could be preparing to take centre stage and live-perform his new album, we don’t know but something’s about to happen!
Stay tuned into the live-stream on his website boysdontcry.co because Frank is definitely up to something. He loves to keep us waiting though so expect to be staring at that warehouse for quite a while, it’s been nearly 4 years since we’ve last heard new music from him!
The live-stream can only be viewed on your Safari browser or mobile phone.
We will literally be watching this all day, much love!
