The real Slim Shady is back!
Yes, the all-time king of rap, Eminem, has just surprised fans with a brand new track named ‘Campaign Speech’ earlier today, just days after his 44th birthday.
The eight minute long track features some crazy intense bars. Throughout the beat, he speaks about 17-year old Trayvon Martin’s death, who was shot back in 2012. He also addresses Donald Trump running for President, saying he will definitely be sinking some Trump fans under water,
“snuck up on ’em in Ray Bands / In a gray van with a spray tan / It’s a wrap like an Ace bandage.”
Controversial right?
Eminem also took to his twitter account to reassure fans that he will be making his comeback soon. His highly anticipated new album will be a follow up of his last album release ‘The Marshall Mathers LP 2′ back in 2013.
Don't worry I'm working on an album! Here's something meanwhile. https://t.co/QX3cdpqFD2

Although he’s been away from the spotlight for quiet a while, he has recently collaborated with US singer/song-writer Skylar Grey, on her track ‘Kill For You’ which features on her third studio album, ‘Natural Causes’. Speaking to HipHopDX, Skylar spoke of how she visions Eminem as a true friend and mentor,
“The first time I wrote a rap was actually a song called ‘Lemonade.’ The rap version of the song isn’t coming out but the early version of it was my first real attempt at rap and of course I didn’t know if it was any good,”
“I sent [the verse] to the one person I knew [I could] get great advice from – I sent it to Eminem, – and I was like ‘Tell me if I should ever rap again.’ And he actually called me and said that I should keep going and keep trying cause he didn’t hate it. So he kinda gave me a little confidence and a little boost to keep trying and keep going for it.”
Although nothing’s set in stone, we are so hyped about this album!
For now, check out the track ‘Campaign Speech’ below and be prepared for some heavy bars, we promise you won’t be disappointed!
