US rapper Desiigner has teamed up with Genius and released a lyric video for his latest track ‘Timmy Turner‘.
‘Timmy Turner‘ has no doubt set the airwaves on fire with it’s undeniably catchy hook and has quickly gathered a huge amount of attention all over the world. The rapper previewed the track in his 2016 XXL Freshman Freestyle, a video which received over 7.5 million views before being officially released and rocketing through the Top40 charts.
Just like his last smash hit ‘Panda‘ which remained no.1 in the charts for a record 41 weeks, fans are totally confused as to what’s actually being said in the song as Desiigner raps once again at a super fast speed, making the lyrics hard to digest.
The rapper currently signed to Kanye West’s GOOD Music label took to a press release to speak about the track and working with Genius. This is the first time Genius has ventured into producing official lyric video’s with Desiigner being the first artist to officially verify the lyric video’s himself.
“I care about my lyrics, I have my own way of saying things – I call it new English. When it came time to do the ‘Timmy Turner’ lyric video, I knew Genius would help me bring the words to life.”
