Death-row records founder Suge Knight has filed a lawsuit against R&B singer Chris Brown for being shot 7 times in 2014 at popular Las Vegas nightclub 10Oak.
Chris Brown is facing yet another lawsuit, this time against Suge Kight for getting shot at one of the pre-VMA parties he held at 10Oak nightclub two years ago. Suge claims Chris Brown had hired crappy security on the night which led to him to be shot 7 times in the chest and abdomen.
The lawsuit states that due to the violent track record of previous parties held by Brown, there should have been increased security and that nobody should have been allowed access carrying ”weapons, including firearms.” Chris Brown however, was not implicated in the shooting and had not been arrested.
Suge had also filed a similar lawsuit against rap star Kanye West back in 2006 for being shot at one of the parties he had held too, though the case was dropped as the judge ruled that Kanye couldn’t have foreseen that the shooting was going to happen.
Rising hip-hop singer Pia Mia is also being sued for co-hosting the party with Chris Brown. Knight claims he’s had suffered major injuries, including a severe blood clot. He is currently behind bars awaiting a murder trial and it is not known how much money he is suing for, but wants compensation for medical expenses from then until now.
We are confident Chris can wriggle himself out of this one, even though this is the second lawsuit he’s been faced with this week, (the second being charges put against him for beating up his manager). It seems like he’s under a lot of pressure right now to prove to the world he’s a nice guy, maybe he must love the suspense of the courtroom! Either way it’s hard not to love him, we’ve got his back!
